1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the FinWise mobile application (“the Application”) or accessing our promotional website (finwise.delolabs.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not download, install, or use the Application.

2. Scope and Nature of Service

FinWise is designed solely as a personal organizational tool for recording, reviewing, categorizing, and budgeting personal expenses.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use certain features such as cloud synchronization and multi-device backup, you may register or authenticate an account using supported sign-in providers (such as Google Sign-In).

• You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that take place under your account.
• You agree to notify us immediately at support@finwise.delolabs.app if you discover any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Permitted Use and Restrictions

You agree to use FinWise solely for lawful personal purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the mobile application or backend services.
• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security-related features, authentication protocols, or access restrictions.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to overload or abuse the Application’s cloud infrastructure.
• Upload or transmit harmful code, viruses, malware, or unlawful, fraudulent, or defamatory content.

5. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Billing

Certain enhanced features, cloud sync quotas, or premium styling themes may be offered through optional in-app purchases or subscriptions:

• Google Play Billing: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly through Google Play’s official billing system. Billing terms, currency conversions, and applicable taxes are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
• Auto-Renewal & Cancellations: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. You can manage, pause, or cancel subscriptions at any time via your Google Play account settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to Google Play refund policies. If you encounter billing issues, you may also reach out to our team at support@finwise.delolabs.app for guidance.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including its name, logo, iconography, visual interface, artwork, software codebase, and promotional content, is the exclusive intellectual property of FinWise and DeloLabs. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app in binary form on your personal devices.

You retain full ownership of the transaction records, notes, and custom categories that you enter into the application.

7. Termination and Account Deletion

You may terminate your agreement with us at any time by deleting your account via the in-app settings (Settings > Profile > Delete Account) or by submitting a web request through our Data Deletion Page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, harmful, or abusive behavior toward our systems or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

FinWise is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DeloLabs, FinWise, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to loss of profits, financial miscalculations, data corruption, or device malfunction—arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Application.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. When modifications are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of FinWise after any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the governing jurisdiction, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith mutual discussions first.
